Simple card

Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2012 Stampin' Up!®

This was the other card we made at yesterday's stamp-a-stack.  It uses the beautiful 3/8" stitched satin ribbon which is currently free with any purchase of $60.

The butterflies are stamped in Calypso Coral - inked once and then stamped three times to get the three different shades.

While the Christmas card we made took a while, this card was really quick and easy to make.

Ingredients:

Card Stock: Calypso Coral, Summer Starfruit; Whisper White;
Ink: Calypso Coral;
Stamps: Parlor Prints background stamp, Papillon Potpourri, Mixed Medley;
Punch: 1-1/4" Scallop Circle;
Ribbon: Summer Starfruit 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon

This is one of the cards that we will be making at tomorrow's stamp-a-stack.  I've used the diamond fold technique as I thought that it would make a Christmas card really stand out from the norm.  I'd love to know what you think, so please leave a comment.

World's Greatest

Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2012 Stampin' Up!®

This is the other card we made at my stamp-a-stack last Saturday.  We used Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo and Whisper White card stock, Melon Mambo ink, Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon and a Designer Ribbon slide from the Holiday Catalogue.  The base card is embossed with the Lacy Brocade folder (also from the Holiday Catalogue).  The stamp is not in a set - just the one on it's own and is called World's Greatest.

Christmas Joy

Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2012 Stampin' Up!®

This is one of the cards we made at my stamp-a-stack on Saturday.  I've used Not Quite Navy, Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations card stock.  The core'dination was embossed using the Holiday Frame and then sanded down to reveal the core of the card stock which is a lighter shade of the Cherry Cobbler.  The stamps are from Joyous Celebrations.
