I made this card for some of my family and friends. I've used Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler as the colour theme. The patterned paper is from the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack. The little ornaments were punched out using the Merry Mini punches and the Champagne Glimmer Paper. The greeting is from Bells & Boughs which is probably my favourite Christmas stamp set this year.

Faux cushion technique

I first saw this technique on Pinterest - note how the top of the card looks like a couch cushion? I've used the Diagonal Scoring Plate at 1-1/2" intervals and then placed some Basic Pearl Jewels on each cross-over.
The beautiful paper at the bottom of the card is from the Festival of Prints DSP (only available until 31 January 2013). The ribbon is the Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon and the greeting is from Petite Pairs.

Christmas gift tag box
Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2012 Stampin' Up!®
This was the second lucky door prize I had at the party on Sunday. I put 4 gift cards with envelopes into an embellished box. The gift cards were 6" x 3" pieces of cardstock, folded in half. I then put a piece of DSP on them, some Glimmer paper and a greeting. I covered the box in DSP and decorated the front, then I sprayed the box with a mixture of Shimmer Paint and Isocol.
Ingredients
Stamps: Mixed Medley, Merry Minis
Paper: Whisper White, Be of Good Cheer DSP, Red and White Glimmer Paper
Ink: Gumball Green
Punches: Merry Minis, 3/4" circle punch, 1-1/4" scallop circle punch
Accessories: Basic Jewels - Rhinestones, Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Frost White Shimmer Paint

This was the other card we made at yesterday's stamp-a-stack. It uses the beautiful 3/8" stitched satin ribbon which is currently free with any purchase of $60.
The butterflies are stamped in Calypso Coral - inked once and then stamped three times to get the three different shades.
While the Christmas card we made took a while, this card was really quick and easy to make.
Ingredients:
Card Stock: Calypso Coral, Summer Starfruit; Whisper White;
Ink: Calypso Coral;
Stamps: Parlor Prints background stamp, Papillon Potpourri, Mixed Medley;
Punch: 1-1/4" Scallop Circle;
Ribbon: Summer Starfruit 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon

This is the other card we made at my stamp-a-stack last Saturday. We used Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo and Whisper White card stock, Melon Mambo ink, Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon and a Designer Ribbon slide from the Holiday Catalogue. The base card is embossed with the Lacy Brocade folder (also from the Holiday Catalogue). The stamp is not in a set - just the one on it's own and is called World's Greatest.

This is one of the cards we made at my stamp-a-stack on Saturday. I've used Not Quite Navy, Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler Core'dinations card stock. The core'dination was embossed using the Holiday Frame and then sanded down to reveal the core of the card stock which is a lighter shade of the Cherry Cobbler. The stamps are from Joyous Celebrations.

Woodgrain

It's my 5th wedding anniversary today. According to a book I found, that means that the traditional gift is wood. Instead of buying a present made out of wood, I made this card with a woodgrain panel. I used the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the Early Espresso Core'dinations card stock. I then mounted it on some Cherry Cobbler card stock and wrapped some Early Espresso bakers' twine around it.

Core'dinations Cardstock

On the focal point of this card, I've embossed the Early Espresso Core'dinations Cardstock with the Lacy Brocade Embossing folder then gave it a light sand to reveal the inside layer of cardstock. Imagine how amazing this would look using the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. I'm yet to try the other two colours - Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green, but I'm sure they would make a lovely Christmas card.

I've used some retiring items and some new items for this card. The retiring Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper makes a great backdrop for a birthday card - especially a child's birthday. The stamp set is Memorable Moments which will be available from 1 September. I've also used the big shot's Framelits Labels Collection which will be carried over to the annual catalogue. All the cardstock and ink colours are from the Big Top Birthday DSP.

Valentine's Day Card 2
Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2012 Stampin' Up!®Happy Valentine's Day everyone.
I wanted to try a card made only in pink and this is the result. It could be a Valentine's Day card but is probably a bit too pink for your average male! I've used Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo and Very Vanilla cardstock, Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo ink, Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon, Baroque Motifs and Artistic Etchings stamp sets, Pearl Jewels, the Movers & Shapers Punch window, the Full Heart Punch, the Scallop Oval punch and the Large Oval punch.

Valentine's Day Card 1

This is another card that we made at my Stamp-a-stack on Saturday. Don't you love that glimmer paper - it really makes the card stand out. I've also used Basic Grey and Real Red cardstock, Basic Black ink and the Petite Pairs stamp set. The Word Window punch was layered on the Modern Label punch which was in turn layered on one of the dies in the Movers & Shapers Punch Windows.
Check again tomorrow for another Valentine's Day Card.

Sale-a-bration Fresh Vintage
Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2012 Stampin' Up!®This is one of the cards that we made at my Stamp-a-Stack yesterday. I've used my favourite colour combination - Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler (along with Very Vanilla). Although you can't see it in the photo, the flower was embossed in Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Embossing Powder rather than just stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink. The gorgeous flower is from the Fresh Vintage stamp set which is absolutely FREE with any $100 purchase from either the Mini Catalogue or the Idea Book and Catalogue. The greeting is from Bring on The Cake and the beautiful ribbon is Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon. I've added some bling with Rhinestone Jewels and punched the corners using the Pinking Hearts Corner Punch.
Sale-a-bration runs until 31 March 2012 and for the first time, you can choose from Designer Series Paper, Ribbons and Brads along with 4 stamp sets. Hurry, these will only be available for a short time, so contact me on lorna.casha@optusnet.com.au to place your order.

An antique touch
Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2012 Stampin' Up!®I haven't posted anything for a while because I've been working on a cross-stitch project. I'll show you that once it's finished (hopefully soon). However, I did make some time to make this card for my sister-in-law. The inspiration for this card came from the Paper Crafter's Library http://blog.papercrafterslibrary.com/creating-your-own-flocked-chipboard-letters-some-valentines-projects/
I love the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stacks (I've used some of the Regals Collection here) and those Antique brads are a must for all crafters. The ribbon is Whisper White Organza Ribbon and the stamp set is Bring on The Cake. Cardstock used was Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Whisper White. The stamp was inked in Early Espresso.
