I made this card for a dear friend, Allison, whose birthday it was yesterday. If you've seen the Summer Mini catalogue, you will recognise this card from page 13. I've changed the colours and the flowers a bit, but the general layout is the same.
Stamp Sets: For Everything, Sweet Little Sentiments (Hostess Set)
Cardstock: Pixie Pink, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Ink: Versamark
Markers: Bold Brights
Other: Blender Pens, Stampin' Pastels

Oxford Page

This is my attempt at a Step-By-Step Challenge over at Home and Scrapped. It's a page describing my trip to Oxford. We climbed up a tower of a church while we were there. The climb was extremely scary as the staircase was old, uneven, very narrow, steep and there was nothing to hold onto except the occasional nick in the wall. However, once we made it to the top, the view was spectacular, so I'm glad I did it (and lived to tell about it!). The lady in the photo is Ben's aunt who showed us around Oxford. She climbed the tower ahead of us and made it look easy (I think she may have done it before).
I used the following:
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip
Patterned Paper: Bella Bleu DSP, Kaleidoscope DSP, Patterns Pack II
Stamps: Jumbo Outline Alphabet
Other: Silver Brads, Flower Fusion Too, Chocolate Chip Marker, Crystal Effects

Razzle Dazzle

I made this card for my really good friend Tania (hello Tania) who celebrated her birthday yesterday. She has a very bright and friendly personality and I wanted to try and reflect this in her card.
I started with a 'window' in the top right hand corner of the card, which I made using the 1-3/4" punch. I then used markers direct to rubber on the flower image in Razzle Dazzle to stamp the flower and punched the main part of it using the same punch. While the card was closed, I stuck the flower in the window using Dimensionals. The patterned paper is matted onto Pink Pirouette card stock on the side. The card needed some more embellishments, so I stuck pearls on from the Pretties Kit. The background was done using versamark ink with stamps from Razzle Dazzle.

Cardstock: Pixie Rose, Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla.
Patterned Paper: Patterns Pack II (Hostess set)
Stamps: Razzle Dazzle (Summer Mini)
Ink: Versamark
Markers: Pixie Pink, Glorious Green
Other: Pretties Kit
