Happy Valentine's Day

Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2013 Stampin' Up!®

I made this double-easel Valentine's Day card for my husband.  The top photo shows you how it sits when open and the bottom photo is the card closed and how it was folded in the envelope.  I got the idea from a fellow demonstrator in the US, Melissa Stout.

The Hearts Collection Framelits dies are a must for this project.  All other ingredients are listed below.

Ingredients
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Primrose Petals;
Patterned Paper: Summer Smooches;
Ink: Versamark;
Stamps: Wacky Wishes Hostess set;
Other: Early Espresso Embossing Powder, Naturals Designer Buttons, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, Pearl Basic Jewels, Designer Builder Brads.

Wedding card

Since it's Valentine's Day, I thought I'd show you a wedding card that I made for a wedding that I went to a couple of weeks ago.  The card opens up in a gate fold and is held down by the little 'love' label on the bottom of the card.  I'll be back later today to show you a double easel card that I made for my hubby.

Ingredients
Cardstock: Whisper White, Riding Hood Red;
Patterned Paper: Twitterpated;
Ink: Riding Hood Red;
Stamps: Hearts a Flutter, Ciao, Baby!, Elements of Style;
Punch: Petite Curly Label (from Sale-a-Bration);
Other: Hearts a Flutter Framelits, 5/8" Organza Ribbon, 5/8" Flower Trim (dyed with Riding Hood Red ink).

Whole Latte Love

This is the card we made at my most recent Stamp-a-stack - just in time for Valentine's Day.  We used the brand new Hearts a Flutter Bundle from the Autumn Catalogue and the FREE Patterned Occasions stamp set from Sale-a-Bration.  The detail on the bottom of the card was made with the Adorning Accents Folder and the little Silver heart on the top right of the card was punched out using the Small Heart punch.  To finish, we sprinkled some Iridescent Ice over the little mug (which unfortunately you can't really see in the photo, but it adds just the right amount of bling to the card).

In the next Stamp-a-Stack on 23 February, I will be demonstrating the Faux Patina technique.  Bookings are essential, so please contact me if you would like to attend.
