Christmas class crackers

Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2012 Stampin' Up!®

I made these as a gift to all the ladies that attended my class a couple of weeks ago.  It was the last class of the year, so I wanted to make it a bit more special.  Inside, I placed little chocolates for everyone.

I made the crackers using Cherry Cobbler card stock, Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack, Champagne Glimmer paper, Mixed Medley hostess set and Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.

Christmas gift tag box

Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2012 Stampin' Up!®

This was the second lucky door prize I had at the party on Sunday.  I put 4 gift cards with envelopes into an embellished box.  The gift cards were 6" x 3" pieces of cardstock, folded in half.  I then put a piece of DSP on them, some Glimmer paper and a greeting.  I covered the box in DSP and decorated the front, then I sprayed the box with a mixture of Shimmer Paint and Isocol.

Ingredients
Stamps: Mixed Medley, Merry Minis
Paper: Whisper White, Be of Good Cheer DSP, Red and White Glimmer Paper
Ink: Gumball Green
Punches: Merry Minis, 3/4" circle punch, 1-1/4" scallop circle punch
Accessories: Basic Jewels - Rhinestones, Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Frost White Shimmer Paint

Papillon Potpourri treat box

I made this treat box as a lucky door prize for a workshop that I had on Sunday.  I'm really loving the Papillon Potpourri stamp set along with the matching Elegant Butterfly punch.  What do you think of this colour combination - Melon Mambo and Pretty In Pink?  The greeting is from the Mixed Medley hostess stamp set and the Victoria Crochet Trim holds it all together.

This is an Easel Card which folds into a standard sized card. However, when opened, the front stands up on its own base. They are really easy to make and this is one of the cards we will be making at my class on Saturday.
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Stamps: Garden Whimsy, Upsy Daisy
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Other: Markers, Scallop Edge punch, Chocolate Chip, Double Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Pretties Kit

I made this box for another of my customers who ordered some very small things. I've used the same paper again (Spring Showers) and Live Your Dream Stamp Set from the Mini Catalogue for the front panel. A reminder that this set is part of the Bushfire Appeal, so Stampin' Up! will be donating 50% of the price to the victims of the bushfires. I am also giving 20% off this set (and the others in the appeal) to sell more and therefore raise more money.

Bag in a Box

Last month, I received a couple of small orders. Rather than put the products in a large plastic bag, I decided to make my own containers to put them in. This is one of them. I think it's called a Bag in a Box. There are a number of different recipes for them on the net, but if you'd like the instructions from me, feel free to send me an email and I'll forward them to you.

Paper: Spring Showers Designer Series Paper (not pictured in this year's Idea Book, but still available); Purely Pomegranate cardstock; Whisper White.
Stamp Set: Live Your Dreams (Mini Catalogue).
Ink: Purely Pomegranate.
Ribbon: Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon.
Punches: Scallop Edge; Scallop Circle; 1-1/4" Circle; 1-3/8" Circle; 1/8" Circle; Round Tab.
Other: White Gel Pen.

I made this card for my niece, Niamh who turned 4 on Sunday. She loved it because it's a bit like a toy. When you pull the little tag, the pictures move:
These waterfall cards are surpisingly easy to make and are fantastic for kids (although the adults had just as much fun playing)!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I'll be back with more posts in the new year.
Stamp Sets: Crab & Company, Paisley
Card Stock: Pumpkin Pie, Green Galore, Close to Cocoa
Ink: Certainly Celery, Basic Black
Other: Stampin' Pastels, Rhinestone Brads, 1-3/8" Square Punch, Round Tab Punch.

Gift Box

This match box was really quick to make. I copied it from a papercraft magazine. I've used Blush Blossom and Chocolate Chip card stock, Chocolate Chip satin ribbon from the mini catalogue and Chocolate Chip ink. The stamp is from Carte Postale (page 94). Inside the cover, I've made a drawer from Chocolate Chip cardstock. It's a great little box for putting little trinkets or lollies for that special someone.
I'm really going to miss the Satin Ribbon from the mini. Hurry, the sales period for the current mini catalogue ends on 30/11/2008. If you'd like to order anything, please contact me before 29/11/2008.

It's Beautiful

I made this box after my upline Marelle asked us to take a hand made box to our last team meeting. The top of the box uses Whisper White cardstock, decorated with the It's Beautiful wheel from the mini catalogue. I took the recipe for the box from Splitcoast Stampers, but if you'd like the recipe, send me an email and I'll send it to you.
