I made this card for some of my family and friends. I've used Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler as the colour theme. The patterned paper is from the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack. The little ornaments were punched out using the Merry Mini punches and the Champagne Glimmer Paper. The greeting is from Bells & Boughs which is probably my favourite Christmas stamp set this year.

Christmas class crackers
Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2012 Stampin' Up!®
I made these as a gift to all the ladies that attended my class a couple of weeks ago. It was the last class of the year, so I wanted to make it a bit more special. Inside, I placed little chocolates for everyone.
I made the crackers using Cherry Cobbler card stock, Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack, Champagne Glimmer paper, Mixed Medley hostess set and Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.

I CASEd this card from a card made by Connie Stewart (a demonstrator in the US). I thought it was so cute, so I made it for my friend's daughter. I changed a couple of things such as the cherries and the awning, which she made using the Rosettes die, but I used the Scallop edge punch and Simply Scored.
Ingredients
Paper and Card Stock: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Red Glimmer Paper
Ink: Early Espresso, Raspberry Ripple, Pretty in Pink
Stamps: Create a Cupcake
Punches: Scallop Edge, Word Window, Cupcake Builder
Other: Frost White Shimmer Paint, Simply Scored

Assisi
Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2012 Stampin' Up!®
This is a layout of the day Ben and I spent in Assisi. It was the first day on our tour that we had really lovely weather, which is why I've used such bright colours. In the last two photos, I've highlighted the use of Dazzling Details, which is a new product being sold by Stampin' Up! It leaves a nice glossy finish and it's perfect to highlight details such as flower petals and (in this case) the title of the page.
Ingredients:
Paper: Daffodil Delight Card Stock, Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper, Tangerine Tango Card Stock;
Accessories: Dazzling Details, Bitty Buttons, 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon Lucky Limeade, 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon Daffodil Delight, Pearl Basic Jewels, Paper Daisies, Tangerine Tango Marker, Little Leaves Sizzlits Die, Full Heart Punch, Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Sizzlits Dies (retired), Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.

Simply Sent App

Stampin' Up! released a new app for Apple* users yesterday. It's free and it's really easy to use. It's called Simply Sent. It's actually designed to help you make digital cards that you can then share on social media or email to your family or friends. Here, I've used it to make a scrapbook page. It's only my first attempt, so it's only a very simple page, but I can already see the possibilities.
Click here to access the app
*Unfortunately the app is not yet available for Android devices, but hopefully soon.

Faux cushion technique

I first saw this technique on Pinterest - note how the top of the card looks like a couch cushion? I've used the Diagonal Scoring Plate at 1-1/2" intervals and then placed some Basic Pearl Jewels on each cross-over.
The beautiful paper at the bottom of the card is from the Festival of Prints DSP (only available until 31 January 2013). The ribbon is the Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon and the greeting is from Petite Pairs.

Heartfelt Stampin' Up! event - Sydney
I've just spent the day at Stampin' Up!'s Heartfelt event in Sydney. The day was just about perfect. I caught up with some old friends, made some new friends and learnt some amazing new techniques. It was wonderful to see all the demonstrations. I love being a part of the Stampin' Up! family.
