Stamp-a-stack card

Created by Lorna Images ©1990-2011 Stampin' Up!®

This is one of the cards that we will be making at my next Stamp-a-Stack on Saturday. I've used a couple of sets that I've had for a while, but haven't really used much of - Happiness Shared and Elements of Style. The colours are straight out of the Colour Coach - Poppy Parade, Baja Breeze and So Saffron. I used the blender pen to highlight parts of the flower after stamping. Then I added some Pearl Jewels and sprayed with Frost White Shimmer Paint mixed with some rubbing alcohol.

Bliss

I had a stamp-a-stack class yesterday where 5 of my friends joined me to make 8 cards. This was one of the designs. It's very similar to the card shown in the Sale-a-bration catalogue, but I've simplified it for the class. It uses two of the stamp sets in Sale-a-bration. I'm loving all the sets this year.

To add something special to the card, I've added pearl jewels to the three flowers on the Whisper White cardstock.

The title refers to the average speed of the Concorde at Filton when it was still in use. I went to see it in 2008 with my husband and brother in law. I didn't think I'd enjoy looking at a plane as much as I did that day. Well worth a look if you're ever in that part of the world.
Ingredients

Patterned Paper: Elegant Soiree; Newsprint
Marker: Soft Suede
Other: Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon; Circle Fire Rhinestone Brad

Bristol

I've just completed another double layout. I always have a great sense of achievement when I complete a double because I tend to get through more photos this way.

This double layout is of Bristol when Ben and I visited family in 2008.

I've kept a lot of white space because it tends to keep the look cleaner. I've used a lot of stamping, but kept the embellishments to a minimum.

These little Designer Brads add interest.
